All residential properties being put up for sale must have a Home Information Pack.

Organising a HIP for your property is simple with Bakewells Property First. We will gather all the information required to produce a fully compliant HIP within a short time with no fuss. On completion, your HIP will be emailed directly to your Estate Agent to be viewed by prospective buyers of your property.

What will your HIP contain?

• An index
• A Property Information Questionnaire
• A sale statement
• Evidence of title
• Standard searches
• An Energy Performance Certificate
• Sustainability Information (for new homes in England only)

How can I pay for my HIP?

• Full payment on instruction
• Payment by Debit/Credit Card
• Buy Now - Pay Later (call for details)

(No charge for debit cards, 3% + VAT administration charge for credit card payments).

How do I get started?

• Contact us on 01332 348791 or email us at hips@bakewellspropertyfirst.co.uk. We will confirm the price, discuss payment options and take your details.
• Fill in a Property Information Questionnaire and a HIP Referral Form. (Requires Adobe Reader to view the documents, which is available for free download here )
• We will make arrangements for an Energy Inspector to visit your property and arrange for the remaining parts of the HIP to be completed.
• As each stage of the HIP is completed, you will be updated with an email or text message. You will also have access to view the progress of your HIP through the internet 24/7. On completion, your fully compliant HIP will be emailed directly to your Estate Agents offices.
